When you go to a dealer do not fall totally in love with any unit and do not listen to ‘this price is only good for today’ sales pitch. If it’s good today it will be good tomorrow and if it isn’t then another dealer will have as good a deal or better. So many first time buyer’s end up with ‘buyer’s' remorse because they were rushed into a deal that was too good to be true. You not only must shop for the RV but also for the financing and the same thing applies, if you find an interest rate that is too good to be true it probably is not a good choice, so be very careful. There are very low rates available thru some dealers that are called buy-downs. It simply means you pay more for the unit than it is worth, the dealer pays the bank with some of the extra profit to buy a lower rate and you end up owing much more than the unit is really worth. There are also no down payment loans and home equity loans we do not recommend.

There are many reputable lenders on the Internet. We will all have rates will be nearly the same. Let's face it; there is no free money! What you need to ask are firm questions about how many times will your credit get pulled, what is exact the total of all the charges to process the loan, and find out how long they have been in business. Many lenders come and go.
